Mrs. Rivas is a bilingual and bicultural, licensed clinical social worker who has more than 13 years experience in the nonprofit sector. She has worked with a wide variety of people, such as LGBTQ+, those dealing problems with addiction as well as survivors of sexual assault and intimate relationship violence. Since 2019 the Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. She is currently offering Telehealth Behavioral Health services. Ms. Rivas works with women pre- and postpartum as part of the Perinatal Behavioral Team. She is a specialist in trauma-informed care and provides EMDR for adults. She can provide individual or group therapy as well as an assisted medication treatment program. Referrals for special care can also be made. Amanda is a volunteer for Best Friends Animal Society to assist homeless animals in finding homes. She is a firm believer in the motto that is the motto of Best Friends, "Save Them All" And she's determined to make Los Angeles into a city where animals aren't killed.
