Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest child and only daughter of Richard McCormick, in 1956 - was born in Woodland Hills (California) on 5 August. She was also the mother of a homemaker. There are three brothers older than her: Michael, Dennis and Kevin. McCormick began dancing and singing from a young age, and would often perform puppet shows in front of children in her community. Following her win in her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest in the age group of six, Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency reached out to her and asked her if she would like to break into show business. McCormick was chosen to play her first big role in 1964. McCormick appeared in a Mattel commercial featuring an adorable doll named Baby Pattaburp. Another commercial for Mattel was filmed in 1964 to promote the "Chatty-Cathy" doll. Soon after, McCormick was cast as the lead role in the show the show Wind It up and It breaks on the stage of La Jolla Playhouse. McCormick played the youngest of three daughters who had two heads on the TV sitcom The Brady Bunch. Florence Henderson was the main character as well as Robert Reed was the father. The show ran for five years. McCormick disclosed in the book that was published in 2008, entitled"Here's My Story": The Journey of Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice in 2008, she revealed that Barry Williams was her screen brother. He was 19. She was 16. She said that "it could have occurred" however the timing was not the right time.
