Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox received a scholarship to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend for students as well as part-time employment. Lennox felt that her skills aren't the same as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative routes she could choose. Lennox began her career in the year 1976, in the group called Dragons Playground. She quit the group before they appeared on I.T.V's talents program New Faces. The singer was the primary vocalist of The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until the year 1980. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own debut album Diva. The album was released in 1993. This album became a huge hit, both in terms of selling and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. is a companion piece for her installation of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now I'll Let You go... It is the first time she has released an independent album. Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is a Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists were a new-wave band that achieved some success in the late 1970s. Then, she was joined by fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox's debut album in 1992 Diva was a huge success, featuring a variety of songs like Why, as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the album from 1995 studio, features version covers of the songs No MoreI Love Yous as well as The Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer has recorded six solo studio albums and one compilation album.
